About the Role
We are looking for a
strategic and hands-on HR leader to drive our Human Resources Rewards and Operation
function.
This role plays a
critical part in ensuring operational excellence across compensation &
benefits, performance management, payroll governance, employee services, and HR
operations, while supporting the organisation’s broader people and business
strategy.
As an Assistant General
Manager, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders and business leaders
to strengthen HR processes, enhance employee experience, ensure regulatory
compliance, and build competitive people practices that support talent attraction,
retention, and organisational growth.
This role is ideal for
someone who combines strong operational discipline with a progressive and
business-driven HR mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Rewards &
Compensation
- Lead and manage the organisation’s compensation
and benefits framework to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Drive salary benchmarking, rewards strategies,
annual compensation reviews, benefits, governance and administration.
- Support talent attraction and retention through
effective total rewards initiatives.
Performance
Management
- Manage and enhance the organisation’s
performance management framework and annual appraisal cycle.
- Partner with business leaders to drive a
high-performance culture aligned to company goals and values.
- Support calibration exercises, rewards
alignment, and performance-related HR initiatives.
HR
Operations & Employee Services
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including
payroll administration, employee records, HR policies, and people services.
- Ensure operational efficiency, process
improvement, and service delivery excellence across the HR Operations team.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation
initiatives within HR processes and systems.
Governance,
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements,
internal governance standards, and HR policies.
- Manage HR-related reporting for regulators,
management, and statutory bodies.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including
regulators, vendors, and service providers where required.
Leadership
& Stakeholder Management
- Provide HR advisory and consultative support to
senior management and business units.
- Lead, coach, and develop the HR Operations and
Rewards team to achieve operational excellence.
