IT Security (Assistant Manager/ Senior Execuitve)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and management of the organization's cyber security policies and procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating regular awareness training and internal drills throughout the organization.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cyber security threats, trends and technology and provide recommendations for enhancing the organizations security posture.
  • Review Cyber Security reports.
  • Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the IT security infrastructure and relevant system resources to ensure it meet SLAs.
  • Responsible for Internal and External Audit reporting.
  • Responsible for Cyber Security advisory, report review and implementation.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents.
  • Review, assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks through vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
  • Collaborating with Security Operations Center (SOC), vendors and internal stakeholders in investigation, containment and remediation.
  • Management and governance of security infrastructure and solutions, including M365 security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, NDR/EDR, virtual private network (VPN), PAM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security controls throughout the organization's infrastructure and applications.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ of working experience in IT industry with 3 years focus on cyber security operation duties.
  • Have knowledge in Cyber security best practices, standards, and frameworks.
  • Experience conducting security risk assessment, security audits and vulnerability assessments for sizable organisations
  • Has practical experience with one or more security technologies: firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, PAM, NDR/EDR.
  • Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, good communication and stakeholder management skill.
