IT Software & BI Engineer (Manager)

Responsibilities

  • Design, development, testing, and deployment of software & application to meet business objective under organization’s IT projects & initiatives.
  • Support & maintenance (2nd Level SLA) of software & application to ensure organization’s Business As Usual (BAU).
  • Design, implement, and maintain data warehouse & business intelligence (BI) systems to meet the organization’s business objectives.
  • Design and build data model & data visuals to meet organization’s business requirement & objectives.
  • Research, design & planning for software & application to fulfil business requirement & organization objective.
  • To ensure successful delivery of software / system solution to meet business objective in IT projects.
  • To ensure smooth operation of existing software / application system under Business As Usual (BAU).
  • To ensure smooth operation of data warehouse & business intelligence (BI) system under Business As Usual (BAU).
  • To ensure compliance & security of data warehouse & business intelligence (BI) system to industrial standards & company’s compliance requirement.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology (IT)/ Computer Science/ Software Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years’ working experience in Software Engineering/ Data Management or related field.
  • Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, good communication and stakeholder management skill.
  • Must have keen interest, drive and perseverance in software / system / data design.
  • Must be familiar with Agile Methodology, SDLC.
  • Must be proficient in at least one (1) programming language. (C#/ Java/ PHP/ Javascript OR equivalent).
  • Must be proficient in at least one (1) software framework (.Net Core, Spring, React, Angular OR equivalent) and software development tools.
  • Must be proficient in SQL & Relational Database System (For E.g MS SQL / Postgres/ MySQL or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in data management tools (For E.g. Power BI, Tableau, OR equivalent) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data management concepts. (For E.g. concept including ETL, data modelling, data analysis, data visualization, etc) is preferred.
