Section Head, Operations (Non-Motor Section)

Responsibilities

  • Overall supervision of the Non-Motor section and ensure smooth running of operations in meeting the SLA.
  • Plan overall operations schedule and ensure proper allocation of resources to deliver the KPIs.
  • Ensure productivity of team resources and continuous coaching and development are provided to the team.
  • Ensure conformity to the company’s guideline and compliance to the Regulatory Authorities requirements.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in work process and system to increase efficiency and cost saving.
  • Ensure projects are in line with company’s transformation direction or BAU.
  • Attend to any complaint, feedback and ensure swift resolution.
  • Review and Update Operations Business Processing Manual and related system user guides (yearly basis if any update).
  • Vendor management including reviewing of vendor agreement on annual basis.
  • Assist section head/HOD in any ad hoc request.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or professional degree in any field.
    Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance industry handling non-motor classes.
  • In depth technical knowledge of operations and underwriting in insurance related industries is an added advantage.
  • Good planning, organizational and influencing skills.
  • Good leadership skills.
