Assistant Manager, Operations (Non-Motor classes)

Responsibilities

  • Manage Miscellaneous team and ensure policies & endorsements issued within the turnaround time.
  • Monitoring team’s accuracy of the policy and endorsement details are captured according to Marketing instructions.
  • Manage weekly workstate reporting on submission status.
  • Monitor and manage to ensure team completes projects within the timeline.
  • Ensure the team complies to all guidelines and regulations for policy and endorsement processing.
  • Assist section head in analysis of overall team performance, identifying trends, strengths, and areas for development.
  • Assist section head in strategic planning/FTE optimization in the team and to drive the Kaizen Initiatives.
  • Reduce error rate by ensuring accuracy of policy and endorsement issuance and improve service standard for policy and endorsement processing.
  • Lead or participate in projects to support strategic initiatives, ensuring they are completed within scope, time, and budget.
  • Compile reports timely and accurately.
  • Assist section head/HOD in any ad hoc request.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or professional degree in any field. Preferably with insurance related qualification such as AMII, ACII, AII and DMII.
    Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance industry handling non-motor classes.
  • In depth knowledge of operations in insurance related to commercial line classes is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
  • Good planning, organizational and influencing skills.
