Assistant Manager, Policy Processing (Miscellaneous Insurance Products)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient functioning of non-motor insurance operations and timely issuance of policies and endorsements by achieving the daily turnaround time (TAT)
  • Drive a culture of adherence to policies and procedures, ensuring compliance to all guidelines, regulations, legal requirements for policies and endorsements processing.
  • Experience in Operation Processing/Procedures and able to identify and recommend areas for improvement meantime have ability to maintain the daily operation service excellence to align with organizational goals, customer expectations and cost effectively.
  • Assisting Unit Head with budgeting and financial management for non-motor insurance operations.
  • Tracking, controlling costs and identifying opportunities to reduce expenses without sacrificing quality.
  • Assist Unit Head in analysis of overall team performance, identifying trends, strengths, and areas for development.
  • Support Unit Head in strategic planning/FTE optimization in the team and to drive the Kaizen Initiatives.
  • Reduce error rate by ensuring accuracy of policies and endorsements issuance and improve service standard for policies and endorsements processing.
  • Assist Unit Head in analysis of overall team performance, identifying trends, strengths, and areas for development.
  • Support Unit Head in strategic planning/FTE optimization in the team and to drive the Kaizen Initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or professional degree in any field. Preferably with insurance related qualification such as AMII, ACII, AII, DMII or CMII.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance industry handling non-motor insurance classes.
  • In depth knowledge of operations related to Property and Miscellaneous classes of Insurance is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Good planning, organizational, communication and influencing skills.
