Manager, Broking

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategies for profitable development of business emanating from Brokers
  • Stay abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the unit and adjusts plans accordingly
  • Familiarise with a variety of the product concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Assist in the development or enhancement of new services for Brokers
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Maintain net combined ratio
  • Execute the continuous delivery of agreed service standards to Brokers
  • Provide necessary training and coaching for marketing executives
  • Ensure portfolio mix as per Department and/or Company policy
  • Adhere with the regulatory requirements and comply with internal guidelines and policies

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline or professional certification in DMII/ AMII.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of working experience in relevant insurance industry.
  • Possess good planning, execution and analytical skills.
  • Successfully delivered on KPIs with proven track record in production, recruitment and business development.
  • Effective communication in writing, business presentation and interpersonal communication across various levels of seniority
