Assistant Manager, Policy Processing (Motor)

Responsibilities

  • Checking policy/endorsement to ensure accuracy of the data captured.
  • Ensure refund premium are processed accurately.
  • Monitor staff productivity, TAT, error rate for policy/endorsement / NCD related matters
  • Liaise and follow-up with Marketing/IT/Underwriting to address any discrepancies or arising issues.
  • Provide guidance to subordinates in processing issues or handling matters.
  • Attend to incoming mails/ submissions/ calls/correspondence.
  • Implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes within the department.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement “Kaizen” by encouraging innovative ideas in identifying opportunities for system enhancements or modifications to improve operational efficiency within the department.
  • Provide business requirements, preparation Test Scripts and perform User Acceptance Test (UAT).
  • Prepare monthly department reports and ad-hoc reports (whenever necessary).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or professional degree in any field.
  • Preferably with insurance related qualification such as AMII, ACII, AII and DMII.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance industry handling Motor class.
  • Computer skills i.e. Word and Excel.
  • Effective written and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
