Senior Manager, Marketing (Corporate Marketing)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and secure business opportunities; and effectively manage the channel to achieve maximum productivity and sales.
  • Service and build good rapport with the clients especially the local PIC.
  • Share with clients on up-to-date insurance advice with regards to policy coverage and Tariff/PIAM/Bank Negara rules and legislation which affect their insurances.
  • Attend to Client queries and quotations promptly.
  • Ensure timely flow of information and documents to and from the client’s office.
  • Ensure renewal notices and summaries are sent to clients timely and follow-up until renewal is secured.
  • Ensure the insurance coverage for clients is sufficient by reviewing their existing policies.
  • Identify new prospective clients and endeavour to secure the business.
  • Keep abreast with market and industry trends to ensure our products and services remain competitive
  • Monitor closely the profitability of the clients with a view to recommending suitable risk improvement measures for implementation and making decisions on reducing or increasing the rate/premium or accommodating less favourable business or terms
  • Ensure that premium due from clients are collected promptly in line with PIAM, Insurance Act requirements and/or the company rules.
  • Involvement in overall integration and coordination of the Corporate Marketing business planning top line, expense budgeting processing, reporting performance and project management of business objective in terms of top line, bottom line, cost control and higher level of service.

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline or professional certification in DMII/ AMII.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of working experience in relevant insurance industry.
  • Possess good planning, execution and analytical skills.
  • Successfully delivered on KPIs with proven track record in production, recruitment and business development.
  • Effective communication in writing, business presentation and interpersonal communication across various levels of seniority.
  • Ability to lead by example with sound People Management skills.
  • Able to travel outstation as required.
