Senior Executive, IT Application Support

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to manage new change request on external maintained system from change request scope definition through implementation across internal, external and cross functional teams.
  • Responsible to provide first line support to users on all application related requests/enquiries.
  • Responsible to assist in the smooth running of BAU for IT functions.
  • Understand and familiar with database structure and data contents of various applications.
  • Able to access database and perform necessary actions (query, extraction, investigation) to support the BAU operations of section.
  • Ensure project/dept milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • To meet and attend the demand and delivery of data warehouse systems/services and system.
  • Follow-up and communicate effectively with relevant parties to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensure all mandatory project/request documents are properly sign-off and documented.
  • Responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the various applications.
  • Provide IT solutions to meet the business need that is aligned to the Company’s strategic business objective.
  • Ensures assign tasks and assignment are completed satisfactorily on time, and in compliance with proposal and established standards.
  • Responsible to assist in smooth running of business as usual for IT functions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology.
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience in IT related function.
  • Databases knowledge (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, etc)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, writing and interpersonal communication.
  • Good business acumen and organization awareness.
